Police in Yuen Long smashed a drug storage warehouse

        The police broke into a drug storage warehouse in Yuen Long and seized cannabis plants with a market value of $3.32 million. The two suspects were each provisionally charged with one count of drug trafficking and will appear in court this morning.
        
        Officers of the Police Narcotics Investigation Bureau conducted an anti-drug operation last Friday and smashed a suspected drug storage warehouse in Yuen Long. During the operation, the police arrested a 38-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman on suspicion of trafficking in dangerous drugs, and seized approximately 14 kilograms of suspected cannabis with a market value of approximately $3.32 million.
        
        The two arrested persons have each been provisionally charged with one count of trafficking in dangerous drugs. The case was brought up in the Tuen Mun Magistrates' Courts this morning.
