A panda exhibit was stolen on each of the two days of the Kwun Tong festival

There were closed-circuit televisions and security guards stationed at the site. Two of the panda exhibits were stolen. A 37-year-old mainland woman holding a two-way permit was arrested on suspicion of theft.
The police stated that they received two reports from security guards last week, alleging that two giant panda exhibits worth approximately NT$100 each were suspected of being stolen in the "Free Space". Among them, a 20-centimeter-tall one was stolen last Thursday. The mini giant panda exhibit was suspected to have been stolen. After checking the CCTV, the police arrested a 37-year-old Mainland woman holding a two-way permit on suspicion of theft outside the Hong Ning Road Recreation Ground in Sau Mau Ping last Saturday. She was released on bail pending further investigation. You must report to the police later this month.
Last Monday, the police also received another report of a missing giant panda exhibit about half a meter tall in the "Free Space", which was classified as a miscellaneous incident.
Chief Executive Officer of the URA, Wai Chi-shing, appealed to the public to take good care of the exhibits and not to destroy or appropriate them for themselves, so that more people can experience the joy of the festival through the event.
