In terms of non-mainland tourists, a total of 10.5 million people visited Hong Kong last year, 44% more than in 2023. Short-distance tourists performed strongly in the Southeast Asian market, especially the Philippine market, with nearly 1.2 million tourists visiting Hong Kong throughout the year, a record high. Indonesia and The number of Malaysian tourists increased by 43% and 50% year-on-year respectively; the number of Indian tourists visiting Hong Kong increased by more than 70% year-on-year.



As air transport capacity gradually recovers, the number of visitors to Hong Kong from long-haul markets including the United States, Canada, Australia and Europe has increased by 50% year-on-year.



The satisfaction of visitors to Hong Kong is high. Last year, half of the visitors stayed overnight, and the average stay in Hong Kong was 3.2 nights. With 10 points as the full score, the satisfaction of visitors to Hong Kong was 8.8 points.
