Upgrades made to the Beijing-Shanghai sleeper trains in Hong Kong

        The Beijing-Shanghai sleeper trains on the Hong Kong section of the High Speed Rail will be upgraded to Fuxing sleeper trains which can carry about 650 passengers, more than the current trains. At the same time, equipment and services will also be upgraded.
        
        Each bed in the new private rooms will have an independent charging socket, the upper bunk will also have a storage space for small items, and the accessible room has a place for a wheelchair. The meal card provides a variety of catering services with local cuisines.
        
        In order to meet the passenger demand during the National Day holiday, an additional train using the Fuxing sleeper train from Hong Kong West Kowloon to Beijing West will be added on September 30; on October 1 and 2, an additional pair of trains will be operated daily between Hong Kong West Kowloon and Tickets for Beijing West and Shanghai Hongqiao sleeper trains are on sale from now.
        
        The departure from Hong Kong West Kowloon to Beijing West will be delayed by about 1 hour to 7:26 pm; the departure from Shanghai Hongqiao will be delayed by about 15 minutes to 8:05 pm; the departure from Beijing West , it will arrive in Hong Kong as early as 7:45 a.m.; the flight departing from Shanghai Hongqiao will arrive in Hong Kong as early as 7:20 a.m., further taking advantage of the "evening departure and morning arrival" advantage.
        
        Starting from October, all sleeper trains between Hong Kong West Kowloon and Beijing and Shanghai will be served by the Fuxing sleeper train. The sleeper train route has also been adjusted.
