MTR open-air section service will be suspended after signal No. 9 is issued.

Train service on the open section of the MTR will be suspended immediately upon the issuance of Signal No. 9. All train trips will not be operated in the open section, Light Rail service will be suspended, and Airport Express downtown check-in service will be suspended until further notice.



Trains already running in the open section will, as far as possible under safe conditions, run to their original terminals or stations with shopping malls and other relatively safe places. Limited train service will be provided in the tunnel section, with less frequent headway.
