Paris Jackson has released her second studio album, HAPPIEST DAY OF MY LIFE. The 11-track set arrives nearly six years after her debut album, wilted, and opens the next phase of Jackson’s recording career.
Jackson has described HAPPIEST DAY OF MY LIFE as “a collision of sound, experience, and emotion.” The album draws on formative influences including The Smashing Pumpkins, Pixies, Marcy Playground, and Bright Eyes. Linda Perry, Butch Walker, and Jason Lader collaborated with Jackson as songwriters and producers on the project. Jackson’s personal songwriting remains at the center as the arrangements move toward a heavier, more dynamic sound. Its songs address healing, heartbreak, self-discovery, and finding light after periods of darkness.
