Written by the Vocaloid producer teniwoha as the theme song for a Japanese drama series starring Suzu Hirose, “Elf” is a nostalgic yet fantastical ballad song that compares humans, burdened with an everlasting loneliness, to elves who live for an eternal time.
It is more than just a cheering song; it is a ‘challenge song’ that moves and inspires the listeners along with Ado’s powerful vocals, and at the same time, a song of departure.
