The song features as the theme song for the upcoming Japanese film The Boy and the Dog starring Fumiya Takahashi and Nanase Nishino; the film is based on the short story collection by Seishu Hase about a dog named Tamon and his influence on several different owners that take him in. This haunting ballad, with its delicate piano sound that gently touches the heart, was co-written by Fukase (vocalist of the band) and his old friend Ryutaro Chiba who passed away without completing it. Fukase added new melodies and lyrics, and finished the song after nearly 10 years. It is like a letter from Fukase to his friend, but at the same time it is somewhat linked to the stories and thoughts of the characters in the film.
