K-Pop girl group ILLIT is set to return with a fresh new release in Japan, continuing their upward momentum with an energetic J-Pop track full of charm.The group will drop its second Japanese single, “Sunday Morning”.
“Sunday Morning” is a J-Pop rock track that depicts the irresistible power of love. The song captures the sparkling emotions and bittersweet longing of a Sunday morning when you want to rush out to meet someone you like.
Mega Shinnosuke, a singer born in 2000 who created a sensation on TikTok with “Ai to U” (original Japanese title: 愛とU) participated in the songwriting. The collaboration between these two artists, both leaders in the short-form trend, is expected to resonate strongly with Gen-Z fans.
The song also serves as the opening theme for the second season of the anime series ’Tis Time for “Torture,” Princess, which premieres this month (available on Crunchyroll)
