Woman dies after fainting on Cathay flight from Sydney to HK

A middle-aged foreign woman died after fainting on board Cathay Pacific flight CX162 from Sydney to Hong Kong on Monday, according to report.



Police received a report of the incident at around 5.20pm, shortly before the aircraft landed at Hong Kong International Airport.



Emergency responders rushed the woman to North Lantau Hospital upon arrival, where she was later pronounced dead.



Authorities are investigating the cause of death.



Flight CX162 departed Sydney at 11.40am and arrived in Hong Kong at 5.29pm.
