Austria's far-right election victory delights Europe's right-wing parties

        The election victory of Austria's far-right Freedom Party (FPO) is an internal matter for Austrian voters, the Kremlin said on Monday, adding that Moscow had nothing to comment on.
        
        The Eurosceptic, Russia-friendly party emerged as the largest in Sunday's election but other parties have refused to cooperate with it and will attempt to form a coalition without it.
        
        Its leader Herbert Kickl opposes providing aid to Ukraine and wants sanctions against Russia withdrawn, arguing they hurt Austria more than Moscow. Earlier this year he forged an alliance with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, the only EU leader to have maintained friendly ties with Putin since the start of the war.
        
        The FPO triumph was another milestone in the recent rise of Europe's hard right.
