The Observatory plans to change the number 3 between 10 a.m. and 12 noon

        Northeast Gale or Storm Signal No. 8 is now in effect. The Observatory is considering changing to Strong Wind Signal No. 3 between 10 a.m. and 12 noon.
        
        The Observatory said that Toraji is currently closest to Hong Kong, passing within about 150 kilometers south of Hong Kong. It is expected that Toraji will weaken and move away from Hong Kong, and local winds will gradually ease during the day today.
