It’s been another remarkable year in Mina Okabe’s life. The Danish-Japanese artist has traveled and toured the world, and now she’s making plans for 2025 with her much-anticipated sophomore album set to be released next spring. Her new single, ‘Making Plans,’ is out worldwide.
Now, ahead of a new year, she releases the third song from an upcoming spring album. Mina Okabe tells: “’Making Plans’ is a song about unrequited love. It’s a very vulnerable topic, and ‘Making Plans’ is probably one of the saddest and most emotional songs I’ve ever written. I wrote it at home with my guitar, so when we recorded it in the studio, I only decided to add a few elements and instruments to ensure the song feeling would be as intimate as possible.”
