The 22-year-old singer-songwriter Toaka, best known as the singer featured on the theme song “Suzume feat. Toaka” from the award-winning auteur director Makoto Shinkai’s latest Golden Globes nominated film “Suzume,” is excited to release her new EP "1R+1" (pronounced "one room plus one") on Oct. 15th. EP "1R+1" is a set of 5 tracks, including previously released "waning moon" and "Playboy hunter club."
New song " GRAY" from the new EP was just released today along with the accompanying lyric video. This song is a theme song of Japanese TV drama on CX "絶対零度～情報犯罪緊急捜査～" aired every Monday from 9pm and is Toaka's first drama theme song.
Toaka has announced her Japan tour coming this November, after spending the summer performing at various festival and events. Tickets are available now so make sure to grab them before they're gone!
