Preliminary results of Thailand's general election
The Bhumjaithai Party of Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul looked set for a big victory in a general election on Sunday, according to preliminary results.
Following is a Reuters calculation of seats won by the main parties based on a preliminary vote count of the election commission
with nearly 95% of polling stations reporting.
Figures are subject to change.
Bhumjaithai Party 192 seats, People's Party at 117, Pheu Thai party got 74
While the preliminary result of a referendum on whether to draft anew constitution, conducted during Sunday's election.
For garnered 60%, No at 32% and against got 8.69%
