2 killed in hotel fire Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City

Two people were killed in a fire at a six-story hotel in Tan Son Nhi Ward in Vietnam's southern hub Ho Chi Minh City on Monday morning.



The fire broke out inside the hotel at around 5 a.m.local time, leaving two people dead from smoke inhalation and several others injured, according to the report.



Firefighters and more than a dozen personnel were dispatched to the scene, while a section of the road was cordoned off as emergency operations were carried out.



The cause of the fire is under investigation.
