Chinese medical team provides free healthcare for conservation staff in Tanzania

The 28th Chinese medical team in mainland Tanzania on Saturday provided free medical consultation and health services to frontline staff working in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in northern Tanzania.

The medical team offered consultations, physical examinations and health assessments, covering specialties including cardiology, neurosurgery, hand and foot surgery, otorhinolaryngology and traditional Chinese medicine.

They also distributed medicines free of charge and donated medical supplies. In addition, the team conducted training on cardiopulmonary resuscitation, fieldwork safety and emergency treatment for injuries and illnesses, helping staff strengthen their capacity to protect their health while working in the field.
