        At 2 a.m., Tropical Depression Soulik gathered about 350 kilometers east-southeast of Vientiane, Laos. It is expected to move westward at a speed of about 10 kilometers per hour. It will cross Laos today and gradually dissipate. At the same time, Tropical Cyclone Prasang gathered It is about 10 kilometers west-northwest of Shanghai and is expected to move west-northwest with a speed of about 22 kilometers per hour. It will cross East China and gradually weaken.
        
        The Observatory predicts that it will be mostly cloudy in Hong Kong today, with a few showers. The lowest temperature in the morning will be about 28 degrees, with brief periods of sunshine during the day. The maximum temperature in the urban area will be about 32 degrees, and one or two degrees higher in the New Territories. Later, the rain will be heavier in some areas. There will be thunderstorms, with moderate east to southeast winds; showers are expected to increase during the weekend, and the temperature will gradually drop early next week, with the temperature next Monday morning around 24 degrees.
