Immigration department says more than 946,000 people entered and exited HK

Yesterday was the last day of the Christmas holiday. The Immigration Department stated that as of 9:00 pm, there were more than 946,000 entries and exits, of which nearly 522,000 were inbounds, of which more than 417,000 were Hong Kong residents, and more than 10 4,000 tourists visited Hong Kong, of which about 67,000 were from the mainland, with the largest number entering through the Lo Wu and Lok Ma Chau branch ports.



In terms of departures, there were more than 424,000 departures, of which more than 322,000 Hong Kong residents departed Hong Kong, with the largest number of departures via Lo Wu Port.



The Immigration Department stated that from December 24 to 26 pm, a total of approximately 3.1 million people entered and exited the country.
