Observatory: Hong Kong is expected to be cold this morning

The Observatory said that the northeast monsoon will bring cold weather to the coast of Guangdong this morning, and will gradually ease in the next one or two days. Affected by the upper-air disturbance, there will be a few showers in Guangdong in the middle of this week. It is expected that a humid maritime airflow will affect the coast of Guangdong near the weekend and early next week. There will be mist in the area and warm weather during the day.



The Observatory predicts that Hong Kong will be cloudy and cold this morning, with the lowest temperature in the city at about 12 degrees and one or two degrees lower in the New Territories. It will gradually become sunny and dry during the day, with the highest temperature at about 17 degrees. There will be gentle to strong north to northeast winds, and the east wind will gradually strengthen later.



Looking ahead to the next one or two days, it will be mostly cloudy with a few showers; in the middle and late part of this week, the temperature will gradually rise and the weather will be more humid, with humidity reaching as high as 95%.
