Pakistan launches digital youth hub to connect with global opportunities

27/3/2025 6:03
Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday launched the PM's Digital Youth Hub, a pioneering platform designed to provide young Pakistanis with employment opportunities, education, and skill development.

Addressing the launching ceremony, Sharif emphasized the importance of equipping youth with modern technology to help them realize their full potential by offering opportunities across various fields and professions.

The prime minister reaffirmed the government's commitment to allocate all possible resources to the initiative, stressing that proper training in emerging technologies can transform young people into a valuable national asset.

The Digital Youth Hub was part of the government's broader efforts under the Prime Minister's Youth Program and the National Youth Council, with a focus on empowering youth across all provinces by improving their access to education, employment, and skill training.

According to details shared by the government, the new platform will serve as a one-stop digital portal, offering services such as career counseling, employment listings, scholarships, internships, and specialized training programs.

"It aims to bridge the gap between job seekers and potential employers in both public and private sectors, as well as international markets," said the prime minister, adding that the portal could benefit 10 to 15 million young Pakistanis within its first year.
