Police seized a small amount of suspected space fuel drugs from a taxi in Ma On Shan. The male driver and female passenger were arrested for possession of dangerous drugs.



At around 1am, a police officer was patrolling opposite Yaoxun House, Yao On Estate, Ma On Shan, and found a taxi parked on the roadside. The male driver and female passenger in the car looked suspicious, so they stopped them for inspection. In the secret compartment under the taxi meter, they found five electronic cigarette cartridges suspected to contain space oil drugs, with a market value of about $2,000. The 32-year-old male driver and the 28-year-old female passenger were arrested on suspicion of possessing dangerous drugs and taken back to the police station for further investigation. A police dog was later called in to assist in the search, but no further findings were made.
