6 terrorists killed in SW Pakistan

Six terrorists were killed during an intelligence-based operation in Pakistan's southwest Balochistan province, the military said on Saturday.



The security forces conducted the operation in Kalat district of the province on the reported presence of terrorists, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan Army, said in a statement.



During the operation, intense fire exchanges took place between security forces and terrorists. Six terrorists were killed, the ISPR said.



The ISPR said that the killed terrorists remained actively involved in attacks against law enforcement agencies and the targeted killings of innocent civilians.
