British band Coldplay held its second concert at Kai Tak Sports Park last night. During a patrol near Kai Tak Sports Park, the police spotted three suspicious individuals and approached them for questioning. Preliminary investigations revealed that a 22-year-old mainland woman and a 19-year-old mainland man were suspected of buying concert tickets through an online platform earlier. Later, a 55-year-old mainland man contacted them and claimed that he could take them into the venue for a fee of 2,000 yuan. The three met outside the venue last night and tried to enter the venue.
Police officers found an expired ticket and two passes that were not for the event on that day on a 55-year-old mainland man. The two men and a woman were arrested on suspicion of "conspiracy to defraud" and are currently being detained for investigation.
