15th National Games Beach Volleyball Test Competition Successfully Completed

The National Games Coordination Office said that the 15th National Games Beach Volleyball Test Match was successfully completed at Victoria Park in Causeway Bay from the 18th of this month to yesterday.
The test match was hosted by the National Games Coordination Office, co-organized by the Hong Kong Volleyball Association of China, and guided by the Chinese Volleyball Association. Nine men's teams and eight women's teams participated in the three-day test match. The participating teams of the men's and women's events first played in the form of group matches, and then entered the knockout rounds. In the end, Wang Peilin and Zhuang Jilai won the men's championship, while Zeng Yueling and Huang Wenjing won the women's championship.
The content of the test match includes the event operation process, event organization, function room configuration, information system, medical services, security, broadcasting arrangements, sports display and award process and volunteer services. A total of about 1,300 National Games volunteers participated in the three-day event. The service scope includes event assistants, on-site and off-site spectator services, certification and security checkpoint assistants, etc. Among them, about 170 volunteers were on duty every day during the event, providing venue event services, including sand leveling, ball picking, scoreboard flipping and other tasks at the main and secondary venues. They have all received relevant training.
The National Games Coordination Office also conducted a simulation exercise with relevant government departments and organizations, including the Hospital Authority, Fire Services Department, Auxiliary Medical Service and the Hong Kong Volleyball Association, last Saturday to strengthen emergency response capabilities during the event. Yang Deqiang, director of the National Games Coordination Office, said that they will review the process and details of this event with relevant government departments and organizations later to prepare for the main event in November.
