Police and Immigration Department arrested 9 mainland women for prostitution

Police and Immigration Department officers launched an anti-prostitution operation in Tai Po Tai Po Market, Shek Wu Market in Sheung Shui and Luen Wo Market in Fanling. Law enforcement officers arrested nine mainland women aged between 28 and 42 in Tai Wing Lane and Tung Mau Square in Tai Po, San Fat Street and San Fung Road in Sheung Shui and Luen Wo Market in Fanling for suspected "violation of stay conditions". All the arrested persons are being detained for investigation and will be handed over to relevant departments for follow-up later.
