22/6/2025 7:05
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Saturday that Turkiye is ready to do its part, including facilitating dialogue, amid the ongoing Iranian-Israeli conflict.

He made the remarks in a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, who is visiting Turkiye to attend the 51st session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Council of Foreign Ministers in Istanbul, the Turkish Presidency stated.

During their meeting, Erdogan highlighted the importance of taking prompt steps toward diplomacy through both technical-level and high-level talks between Iran and the United States.

He stressed that the region cannot endure another war, calling for an immediate end to Israel's actions.

The Turkish president also emphasized that resolving the nuclear dispute must be achieved through diplomatic negotiations, adding that Turkiye has engaged in various efforts to that end.
