Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rashid met Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlic Radman on Saturday in Baghdad to discuss expanding cooperation in politics, the economy, and culture.

Radman, leading a government and business delegation, praised Iraq's role in regional and international stability and expressed Croatia's interest in joint projects in energy, education, and cultural exchange.

In a separate meeting with Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein, Radman highlighted opportunities in oil, gas, energy, and armaments.

Hussein said discussions also covered Iraq's ties with the EU and NATO, agricultural cooperation leveraging Croatia's expertise, and tourism and cultural initiatives.
