Fire in Turkey's capital kills 3

Three people, including a three-and-a-half-month-old baby, were killed after a fire engulfed a 26-story apartment building in Turkey's capital Ankara, the semi-official Anadolu Agency reported Sunday.
The blaze reportedly began at around 10 p.m. local time Saturday on the fourth floor and quickly spread through the building.
Emergency teams, including firefighters, police, medical crews, rushed to the scene. Residents were evacuated from the building as the fire raged.
Firefighters brought the blaze under control after about four hours of efforts. Cooling operations at the site were still underway as of Sunday morning, said the report.
A total of 39 people, including seven firefighters, suffered mild smoke inhalation. Paramedics treated 26 people at the scene, while 20 others were taken to hospitals with one in critical condition.
