A fire broke out in Central this morning but was quickly extinguished

A fire broke out in the kitchen of a fast food restaurant in Central and was extinguished by fire fighters. No one was injured. At around 1:00 in the morning, at a fast food restaurant selling hamburgers and other snacks on the ground floor of No. 45-47 Kok Lun Street, Central, when an employee was frying food which later led to the stove burning fiercely. The blaze was so extreme that the kitchen later caught fire and was filled with smoke. Two male and female employees then evacuated the premises. Firefighters arrived at the scene, dispatched a team with smoke hats and a hose to put out the fire, and successfully extinguished the fire. No one was injured during the incident. After a preliminary fire investigation, it was believed that the fire was caused by a stove burner in the fast food restaurant's kitchen, and the cause of the fire was deemed not suspicious.
