Typhoon Yinxing will intensify today and tomorrow and move towards Luzon

The Observatory pointed out that the dry northeast monsoon will affect the coast of Guangdong in the next two or three days. The area is generally sunny and dry, and it will be slightly cooler in the morning. The monsoon is expected to continue to affect southern China early next week. Typhoon Yinxing will gradually intensify today and tomorrow. and move to the Luzon Strait, and then have a high chance of turning to the west and entering the central and northern parts of the South China Sea. It is expected that the Yinxing will be weakened by the dry northeast monsoon; however, under the combined influence of the northeast monsoon and Yinxing , from the weekend to the beginning of next week, the winds along the coast of South China will be quite strong. At 2 a.m., Yinxing gathered about 590 kilometers northeast of Manila and was expected to move west-northwest at a speed of about 12 kilometers per hour, moving toward the Luzon Strait and gradually intensifying. The Observatory predicts that Hong Kong will be mostly cloudy at the beginning of today, with one or two rain showers. The weather will gradually turn sunny and dry during the day, with temperatures ranging from 23 to 28 degrees. Winds will moderate to strong from the east to the northeast, with occasional strong winds offshore later on. Looking forward to the next one or two days, the weather will be fine and dry, with a slightly cooler morning. The lowest temperature in the urban area will be about 21 degrees, and in the New Territories it will be one or two degrees lower.
