Police crack down on illegal fishing stalls in Sheung Shui, arresting 11 people.

        Officers from the Anti-Triad Operations Unit of the Tai Po Police District launched an anti-illegal gambling operation Tuesday evening, raiding a tenement building on San Cheung Street in Sheung Shui and breaking up a suspected illegal fishing and gambling stall.
        
        During the operation, a 44-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of “operating a gambling establishment”.
        
        Five men and three women, were also arrested.
        
        A total of five fishing machines, a batch of game cards, a batch of gambling equipment and about $4,000 in gambling money were seized. All the arrested persons are being detained for investigation.
