Privacy Office receives notification of data leakage from a company

The system of ground handling services company AVIC Mengjie is suspected to have been hacked. The Office of the Privacy Commissioner stated that it had received a notification of the data leakage incident from relevant organizations and had launched a compliance review in accordance with established procedures.
AVIC Mengjie, formerly known as Jardine Air Services, is responsible for providing ground handling services to more than 40 airlines in Hong Kong airports.
