High-level Hong Kong delegation to visit Greater Bay Area mainland cities

A high-level delegation of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) government and senior representatives of the business sector will visit five Chinese mainland cities of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) from Nov. 25 to Nov. 27 to boost cooperation in economy and trade, among other sectors. HKSAR Chief Executive John Lee will lead the delegation to Guangzhou on Nov. 25 to attend the Guangdong-Hong Kong Deepening Economic, Trade and Investment Cooperation Conference, exchanging views on promoting economic, trade and investment cooperation as well as high-quality development of the GBA, a government press release said on Friday. The chief executive will also visit Foshan to meet with the leaders there before returning to Hong Kong on Nov. 26, the release added. Chief Secretary for Administration of the HKSAR government Chan Kwok-ki will then lead the delegation to visit five GBA cities, namely, Foshan, Guangzhou, Dongguan, Huizhou and Shenzhen, to learn more about the successful experiences in the development and industrial planning of the Guangdong areas, the press release said.
