Ukraine's DTEK to receive 107 mln euros from EU, US to rebuild power facilities

Ukraine's top private power company DTEK said on Monday it would receive 107 million euros ($112.30 million) from the European Commision and the United States to restore power facilities destroyed in Russian attacks on Ukrainian energy system. The company said that 62.8 million euros would come from the EU and $46.1 million from the U.S. government. Russia has intensified its attacks on the Ukrainian energy sector since this spring, destroying about 90% of DTEK generating capacity.
