HK Home Affairs Department opens 18 temporary cold shelters in various districts

With the Cold Weather Warning in force, the Home Affairs Department (HAD) has opened 18 Temporary Shelter Centers (TSCs) in various districts to provide shelter to people in need. The centers will remain open while the Cold Weather Warning remains in force today. During the opening hours of the temporary cold shelters, clean bedding and blankets/quilts, hot food and hot water will be provided free of charge to the residents
In order to ensure a quiet and undisturbed environment for those staying at the Temporary Shelter, any member of the public or organization wishing to make a gift to the occupants should contact the staff of the Temporary Shelter to register and then place the gift in the designated indoor area.
