Additional sanctions will be imposed on Venezuela unless it accepts its repatriated citizens from the United States, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Tuesday.
Meanwhile, U.S. Chief Judge of the District Court James Boasberg demanded more details from the Trump administration on Tuesday regarding two deportation flights that took off over the weekend. He had ruled against and halted the deportation of Venezuelan migrants.
The United States has been deporting immigrants, including Venezuelans. On Monday, top Venezuelan lawmaker Jorge Rodriguez denounced the U.S. deportations as barbaric and a "crime against humanity," which denied them due process.
