The Hong Kong Flower Show, which was held for ten days at Victoria Park in Causeway Bay, closed at 9pm last night. After the flower show, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department will distribute flowers that are in good condition and can be replanted to the public today. It is expected that about 3,500 pots will be distributed. Citizens who are interested can pick them up at the South Pavilion Plaza near the Sugar Street entrance of Victoria Park at 9am today.
The Leisure and Cultural Services Department said that citizens are required to bring their own reusable bags. Each person is limited to one pot of flowers, and the distribution is on a first-come, first-served basis while stocks last.
This year's flower show uses the vibrant "Autumn Blossom" as its theme flower, and the theme is "Blooming with Glory".
