Fire breaks out in S. Korea's thermal power plant, no casualty reported

Fire broke out on Monday in South Korea's thermal power plant, with no casualty reported, according to Yonhap news agency.
Flames and smoke erupted at about 9:28 a.m. local time (0028 GMT) from a section of the thermal power plant in Yeosu, about 320 km south of the capital Seoul.
The section was a desulfurization facility that stopped operation since 2021 and has been under demolition.
No casualty was reported, and the fire authorities were investigating the exact cause of the accident.
