China ready to strengthen coordination with France

China stands ready to strengthen bilateral and multilateral strategic communication and coordination with France, its vice president who is in France told the French president, according to a Chinese foreign ministry statement on Tuesday.
The statement showed, China's Vice President Han Zheng talked about "injecting new impetus" into bilateral ties with France in his meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron.
China and France over the weekend agreed to resolve trade disputes through dialogue, but gave no signs of a deal to lift Chinese levies on European brandy.
Han is visiting France to attend the United Nations Ocean Conference, at which he said China will carry out bilateral and multilateral cooperation projects to support small island states and other developing countries in implementing sustainable development goals.
