A money changer in Kwai Chung was robbed by thieves

A money changer in Kwai Chung was robbed by thieves, 3 men and 1 woman were arrested and detained.
At about 9 am yesterday, the police received a report from the staff of the money changer at 40 Shing Fong Street, Kwai Chung, that 3 men used hammers to hit the counter and glass window in the money changer, trying to scare the staff and demanding cash but failed, so they fled. It is understood that the attempted robbery took about 8 minutes.
After receiving the report, the police arrived at the scene. After preliminary investigation, the incident did not cause any monetary loss. The police then arrested 3 teenagers involved in the case at the pedestrian bridge of Kwai Chung Plaza; after further investigation, the police arrested another 13-year-old girl suspected of being involved in the case in Sheung Shui.
The 4 arrested people are friends, aged between 13 and 15, and are being detained by the police for investigation. The case has been handed over to the New Territories South Regional Crime Unit for follow-up.
