5 scaffolding collapses occurred

The Housing Department said that during the storm, as of 7pm last night, a total of 5 scaffolding collapses occurred.



Among them, the Housing Department removed the scaffolding affecting Choi Hung Road at about 3pm yesterday afternoon, and arranged to remove the scaffolding that collapsed on Wah King Street, Wah Fu Village. The Architectural Services Department is working hard to remove the scaffolding on Siu Sai Wan Road, hoping to restore road traffic in the shortest possible time. In the private housing estates located on Yun King Road and Tin Hau Temple Road in North Point, one scaffold collapsed, affecting the open-air car park of the housing estate and Tin Hau Temple Road respectively. The Buildings Department is actively following up with the relevant owners' corporations, and the scaffolding affecting Tin Hau Temple Road will be removed as soon as possible.
