The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in a statement that 32 aid packages were airdropped on Wednesday throughout the Gaza Strip.
The statement said that the packages included food supplies for residents in both southern and northern Gaza, as part of wider efforts to strengthen the humanitarian response in the Strip.
The operation was carried out in coordination with the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, and Egypt, according to the statement.
The IDF said that it will continue collaborating with the international community to enhance the humanitarian response in the Gaza Strip, while rejecting accusations of intentional starvation.
Meanwhile, Israel's state-owned Kan TV News reported that Israel has delivered to Hamas, through the mediation countries, a document amending the Hamas response submitted to Israel last week during the Israeli negotiating team's stay in Qatar.
Israel's Defense Minister, Israel Katz, said in a statement on Wednesday that if Hamas does not announce soon the release of Israeli hostages, it will pay very heavy prices.
