The Warsaw District Court in Poland has blocked the extradition, to Germany, of Ukrainian national Volodymyr Z., who was arrested in Poland for alleged involvement in the 2022 Nord Stream pipeline explosions, the Polish Press Agency reported on Friday.
The court ordered the immediate release of the 49-year-old man, ruling that the evidence presented by the German authorities was too vague to justify extradition, Judge Dariusz Lubowski said.
Volodymyr Z. denied any involvement in the explosions, stating that he was in Ukraine at the time of the incident.
