Asian Winter Games kicks off tonight with over 70 Hong Kong participants

The Asian Winter Games commence this evening in Harbin, and Hong Kong has dispatched over 70 athletes to compete in six sports, including curling, figure skating, ice hockey, and alpine skiing, with the largest-ever delegation of over 100.
The Chief Executive, Mr. Lee Ka Chiu, arrived in Harbin yesterday afternoon on a six-day visit to the city. He is scheduled to attend the opening ceremony tonight, meet with the Hong Kong delegation, and observe several competitions. During his stay, he will also visit various cultural and tourism facilities to learn about the development of the local tourism industry.
This year marks the third iteration of the Asian Winter Games, which are scheduled to conclude on the 14th of this month. President Xi Jinping is expected to deliver the opening address at the ceremony and engage in diplomatic interactions with visiting leaders.
