A truck bomb blast at a rebel checkpoint in northern Syria's rebel-held city of Azaz on Wednesday killed 10 and wounded 13 others, a war monitor reported. At least four of the dead were members of the so-called Turkish-backed "Syrian National Army," according to the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. Meanwhile, other reports said the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) fired shells on the explosion site after the blast, as the SDF and the Turkish-backed rebels are at each other's throats in northern Syria. No one has claimed responsibility for the bombing so far. Azaz, located in Syria's Aleppo province, is controlled by rebels against the Syrian government.
