The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) said on Thursday that it received a report of a vessel attack occurring approximately 45 nautical miles south of the Yemeni port city of al-Mukha. According to the UKMTO, the master of the vessel reported that a rocket-propelled grenade exploded near the vessel. The attack originated from two small boats, one white and one black, each carrying four individuals wearing white and yellow raincoats. The vessel and its crew are reported to be safe, and the vessel is proceeding to its next port of call. Authorities are still investigating the incident, said the UKMTO. The Houthi group, which has previously claimed responsibility for attacks on commercial shipping in the region, has not yet issued any statement regarding the incident.
