Hong Kong player Chen Ruilin won the silver medal in the women's 100-m butterfly

        Hong Kong swimmer Chan Rui-lam swam 1:03.70 in the women's S14 100-meter butterfly final of the Paris Paralympic Games, breaking her own Asian record and winning the silver medal, winning the first medal for the Hong Kong team at this year's Paralympic Games.
        
        20-year-old Hong Kong female swimmer Chen Ruilin competed in the Paralympic Games for the second time. She ranked fourth in the women's 100-meter butterfly last time and missed the medal. Winning the silver medal this time was her first Paralympic medal. She cried with joy and felt that her hard work was worthwhile.
        
        The gold medal, for this category, went to British swimmer Masgiel, who swam a world record of 1 minute and 03 seconds.
        
        Chen Ruilin will receive a bonus of NT$750,000 from the Jockey Club Outstanding Athletes Award Scheme. Chief Executive Lee Ka-chiu sincerely congratulated Chen Ruilin and her coach. He said that Chen Ruilin tried her best and showed her perseverance in the competition. She deserved the silver medal and demonstrated the extraordinary strength of Hong Kong's disabled athletes. He and the entire Hong Kong people were excited. and proud; and I wish the athletes of the Hong Kong team to achieve great results in other sports, give full play to their talents, and win glory for Hong Kong. Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism Yang Yunxiong and unofficial members of the Executive Council also sent congratulations to Chen Ruilin. Chen Ruilin has performed well in recent years and won gold medals in the women's S14 100-meter butterfly and women's S14 100-meter backstroke events at the 4th Asian Para Games in Hangzhou.
