7 injured after turbulence hits Scoot flight from Singapore to Guangzhou

Four passengers and three crew members were injured after a Scoot flight that was en route from Singapore to Guangzhou, China, encountered turbulence on Friday (Sep 6) morning. According to the flight tracking website FlightRadar24, Scoot flight TR100 departed from Changi Airport around 5.45am. It landed "uneventfully" in Guangzhou at 9.10am, said Scoot. "We can confirm that four customers and three crew members received medical assistance immediately upon arrival in Guangzhou," said the low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines. As of 8.30pm local time, one passenger was hospitalised for further observation.
