Man in Tsim Sha Tsui fire was unconscious and sent to hospital

A fire broke out in a unit on Hart Road in Tsim Sha Tsui in the early morning and was temporarily classified as an arson case. The scene was at 19-23 Hurd Road. The police received a report at about 0:20 in the morning that there was a fire in a unit at the scene. Officers arrived at the scene and the fire fighters broke into the house and put out the fire. A 46-year-old non-Chinese man was found on a bed in the unit where the fire broke out. He was suspected of being unwell due to smoke inhalation. He was unconscious and was sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment. The cause of the fire is still under investigation and no one has been arrested yet.
